Mr. Shiv Kumar Rungta elected as Vice President of FAPCCI

Sri Shiv Kumar Rungta, Managing Director, Rungta Glasstech Pvt. Ltd was elected as Vice – President for the year 2012 – 13 at the Managing Committee meeting held on June 30, 2012.

Brilliant throughout the Career

Sri Shiv Kumar Rungta had a brilliant academic career, receiving a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from BITS, PILANI and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from a reputed institute, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad.

He was associated with FAPCCI for more than 10 years as Managing Committee Member. He was Chairman of Banking and Insurance, Membership, Foreign Trade, Information Technology and Biotechnology Committee. A member of Selection and Budget Committee.

He is the President of AP Plywood, Laminate and Glass Dealers Welfare Association, since 2008-09. He was a Secretary of Agarwal Samaj.  

He was a Project Manager in a textile industry in Ahmadabad for two years, and was a Marketing Manager in Khaitan fans, Kolkatta. He held senior positions in Pan African Paper Mills E.A. Ltd and Kenya and Nigerian Paper Mills Ltd and worked there for four years.  He represented the Kenya Government as a part of the Trade Delegation of Kenya Chamber of Commerce and Industry to various countries in Africa. He travelled extensively in East and West African Countries. 

He plays Badminton and table tennis and was captain of Badminton team in college and IIM, Ahmedabad.
